Testimonials
“Sandie brought strength and stability to the Board of Trustees, particularly in times of crisis and challenge. She has a profound understanding of systemic inequality, group dynamics and power issues within teams - as well as the skills, knowledge and ability to address these issues. Her astute insight and professionalism make her an ideal 'critical friend' who can challenge, enable and empower.”
— Trustee, Charity Board
“I feel potentially quite empowered because Sandie (i) placed my preoccupations within a clear narrative structure; and (ii) suggested this was a perfectly common transition for any leader. For me this opened up the possibility of very valuable professional development and just at the right time for the school.”
— Head Teacher and Federation Lead, London School
“[I found it…] difficult… to voice my concerns and worries, yet Sandie guided me to become more aware of things I didn’t realise I was feeling. The coaching was very useful in empowering me to make decisions and deal with my issues and move forward.”
— Managing Director and Vice President: Global Acquisitions and Business Development
“I found the sessions I had with Sandie incredibly useful in helping me sort and work through both existing problems and longer term development issues. It felt like a genuinely collaborative process, so we were able to tackle some difficult issues and work through strategies for managing them. The sessions enabled me to be self-critical in a positive way, and to reflect on how I might more productively approach matters in the future.”
— Trustee Deputy Director, National Think Tank
“I found Sandie's eye for detail really helpful. She was willing to ask the uncomfortable questions. She helped us to consider not just the intended but also the unintended consequences of proposals. This resulted in strengthening the Board’s scrutiny of proposals, improving governance and organisational decision-making.”
— Chair of Board, Governance Committee
“Sandie is very professional, invaluable, worked with me to unpick complex problems and gain a different or richer perspective, and then helped me identify solutions and options going forward: excellent on the big and small picture. I was always surprised at how much I could work through in an hour.”
— Chief Executive, UK Charity
